thought as I saw things in this morning’s ride . I saw lots of garden art — Garden art– (really it is yard art – the the British folks have a much nicer word for a yard– do you not like the word garden better?) Any way, I studied a lot of garden art this morning – and wondered what was in the mind of the owners when they made the purchase – Was it for them to enjoy? was it to send a message? was it like a museum piece that they could show to the world? ….??? Oh, I saw other things too. — Like this guy:
Was that a smile – or was the message aimed at warning me – I assumed it was a warning for me and – I headed on my way!
Not exactly garden art – but it was in the garden – and all signs to me are a form of art — I did not need a plumber – thank goodness — but you can not help but appreciate the ego of this guy – or lady.
This is beautiful – wonder what their day was like when they chose it for their garden art
- Oriental? not sure what this guy is holding – but one can assume it is placed there for reasons important to the home owner – or the original owner – in this case

Lawn art in the making – with chain saw and all — the man in white shirt and the man caring the branches to trailer – would, from time to time , step back and help the artist up in the tree decide where to cut next!
