  • November 22, 2023 – One day before Thanksgiving Day

I made this collage of food for Thanksgiving Day – Mostly my own photos plus one famous news person. Each photo showing food creations, preparations, and gatherings. I added one from the streets of NYC showing hunger.

    Thanksgiving Day 2023
AS YOU SWING THROUGH LIFE – Make it your Thanksgiving opportunity.
  • November 21, 2023 – I love street photography even though there is no street here!

Street photography – Composition, color, and story are what I tried to put into this photo. The focused faces are to tell you that these two men are testing the model airplane, that they just mechanically worked on, to be sure the ailerons are woking correctly before take-off. They read the following headline about a full-sized plane and wanted to be sure it did not happen to their model.

Plane crashes after mechanic incorrectly rigs aileron control cables

AS YOU SWING THROUGH LIFE – Testing is not an indication of lack of confidence in your work – But rather an indication of confidence that you know a job is complete and well done when it passes the test!
  • Nov 20, 2023 – WOW LOOK WHAT I FOUND!

Look what I found in the news today. 🙂

“Honda seemingly saw the problem with my Christmas Tree story and fixed it. The Motocompacto’s seat, wheels, and handle bars fold neatly into its body, a flat box – no assembly required.”

    Think I will get one
    Yesterday’s problem
AS YOU SWING THROUGH LIFE – Enjoy life’s surprises
  • November 19, 2023 – Shopping and Assembly required.

Shopping yesterday made me think of a joke about buying from stores like Ikea where assembly is required. So I ordered a Christmas tree and assembled a bunch of photos to tell a funny story. Hope you enjoy it.

You can do it, I have faith!
AS YOU SWING THROUGH LIFE – Enjoy lifes challenges and if you fail – know that it brings you a step closer to success.
  • November 17, 2023 – Continuing my series of animals eating:

I think we have a communication problem happening here.

This is my attempt at a Universal Language – We will see how it works in a few moments!
AS YOU SWING THROUGH LIFE – Realize that all folks in the hills east of Pittsburgh know that red up your room means to tidy up your room – I suggest we make that universal so that I do not get strange looks when I say I will red up the kitchen after dinner.
  • November 16, 2023 – Two days of rain in Titusville, Florida

I had fun though – Play on the computer a lot – Here is one example of my computerized Photo-Art:

On the farm – Watch out for “THE CHASE B4 MY EYES”
AS YOU SWING THROUGH LIFE – Find a hobby for those rainy days. – I had fun!
  • November 13, 2023 – What do you eat – Unless you choose a special diet, you are omnivorouse – eat both food of plant and animal origin.

This tortoise friend of mine is a very picky eater – It chooses no weeds – only nice green grass.
I did on-line research at “GREEN LANE FARM BOARDING KENNELS” and found this: “They’re actually omnivorous like us! They will often eat things like insects, slugs and carrion in the wild, but generally it’s best to stick to plants and leaves when you’re keeping one at home.”

Omnivorous like us ???????? Do you eat insects, slugs and carrion??? I am not sure you should trust my on-line research! HaHa

A tortoise friend of mine – I speak to it almost every day some weeks. – Then it does not show up for weeks.
AS YOU SWING THROUGH LIFE – Take time to think about the menue of your pets and the animals you see out your window or on your walks.
  • November 12, 2023 – I felt like I needed to make a new road sign for the state of Florida!

I still have many photos of animals eating I want to show you – But first I just had to make a new road sign for Florida after driving Interstate 95 and no one seemed to travel the speed limit – even as we passed a State Trouper’s car. Oh by the way – see the angel cloud watching over us!

The angel is watching over us as we speed along.
AS YOU SWING THROUGH LIFE -Please drive with care!
  • November 11, 2023 – Hunting the perfect restaruant while traveling is often difficult – Not for Perla though!

Watching animals eat is fun. Their eating habits tells us alot about them. See Perla, my Icelandic horse. The rest of the hered is not eating – they are finished eating. But Perla comes from Iceland where food is often scarce. That has trained her to eat anything – grass, weeds, dandylions, anything – She is not picky – she continues to eat even the dry brown hay.  By the way, those boots protect her feet because she “Foundered”. Founder is a contition caused from eating too much rich grass. Perla ate too much early spring grass weeks before this photo was taken.

PERLA – Being a true Icelandic – she has the trait of a smooth gait (called a Gaited horse) but she also has the trait of eating each blade of growth in front of her – grass, weed, brown hay, what ever!
AS YOU SWING THROUGH LIFE -pause to study the eating habits of the animals in your life. They tell you things about those animals – how they protect food for their young, how they prepare the food to go down the gullet, how they find it, how the save it for scarce food times, ……
  • November 9, 2023 – Some of my photos of the sky that I posted on the TGO Photo Club FaceBook page.

If you are not a member of the TGO Photo Club FaceBook group you have not seen these.  If you are a member, then you most likely have seen them. Sorry for showing them two places.

If not a member of the TGO Photo Club group, I think you can become a meber by asking the adminstrators for a membership to the group.

TGO EVENING SKY BEFORE A STORM – OCT 31, 2023
Hopefully, photos help to explain things I see and want to tell you about. Today, I saw and want to tell you about Radio Controlled (RC) gliders. To minimize drag, this RC glider has a single wheel centered under the fuselage. At rest, the glider rests on a wing tip. To get off the ground someone throws (hand launches) the glider into the air. The pilot pushes power to the propellers. The glider flies like a regular plane. When the pilot wants to glide he turns off the power and the propellers fold back against the fuselage When he is done gliding, he lands the glider on the center wheel. When it stops it leans over and rests on a wing tip, ready to be hand launched again. Look at the photo. The man on the left is the RC glider pilot. The man on the right is “hand-launching” his glider.
I always have Photoshop Digital fun – this time in the sky
More fun in the sky over NYC area – on final into Newark Airport on Halloween.
AS YOU SWING THROUGH LIFE -Have fun with your camera – often – then share on digital media.
