Also in this photo – many Green shirts in honor of the Jet’s game they are on the way to see – Sorry the Jets lost.NYC 2015 — Take 4 – Photo thru the train window – phone and varied dress code – black socks, no socks, red shoes, white shoes, blue shoes, sandals, shorts, pants, knapsack size bags …. are all in fashion.NYC – 2015 TAKE 5 – Study this photo – not a single phone. – but the cup of coffee in the right hand of man walking is very common in NYC and computers are very common. See the laptop lady in upper left and lady with unseen laptop in lower right – I guess they did not see the “Do not sit on the stairs” sign. Oh, see red knapsack on stairs and the knapsacks on those outside walking. To get around NYC a person needs a knapsack, a computer or cell phone, and needs to learn to read New Yorkeese. See the arrow pointing to PATH? Do you think that is a hiking trail? Nope. It all started with son and daughter-in-law having a typical conversation with the family dog!Then we studied a “Vegetable” from the local farm stand – What is it? – do I cut it with my “Leatherman”?Maybe we can cut it and cook it for dinner? We did – Not good? Oh well! Maybe we cooked it the wrong way? – Only we did not know what it was – so getting a recipe from the web was impossible!Anyway – lets go to the “BIG” New York City -‘Tis only a 45 minute ride.We go fast through Suburbs – sitting backward (No forward facing seats available) by the window – this is our view from the upper visa seat we chose!We arrive at Penn Station – Now where are our Son and Grandson? – Somewhere out there – Thanks for the cell phone we can find them.We found them!I really liked seeing this dressed up couple on the rightThen we saw this unmade bed – Have no idea what the guy on the right is carrying – what he is up to.So, what do you think it is?But anyway, the other guy did get out of bed for breakfast.In central park – a boxer?Boxer up close – shadow boxed for as long as we watched – maybe 15 minutes?5 security folks are visible in this shot (Think one in the police car is sleeping) – Guess what all of this security is about – The President is coming to town to address the UN Assembly – And Putin will be there also – Did you see it on the news? He arrived moments after this photo and spent the night in NYC – pre UN speech!A little scary – see my reflection in the window – sort of foo-foo for Halloween say I? Store fronts are always interesting!Here is Central Park transportation – walking (We walked) , horse, bike, and bike carriage (the red one)Lunch – a little like Easter’s on the Island – so, New York is not so different after allGetting late and we arrived home with our head full of new experiences and new thoughts about life in the big city and how it does differ from our less complex life in Florida and Drummond – but I found it is just made up people being nice people! – They all did say hello, politely laughed at my attempts at humor, and smiled when we communicated! T’was fun!But, soon we fly away to Florida – hope the Hurricane does not hit us! But I have tons of photos of NYC area – Maybe I can post more later. Bye for now.
Caroline’s serve – School Jr Varsity “We” won and this served helped in the march toward the win!Maya has that gift of entertaining – She does perform with a group in New York City – But here it was just for us – Oh, what is this performing face ? It is Maya’s version of Donald Trump’s face, of course!Jackson is a very successful soccer player – and of course he loves to entertain us with super expressions. If you have any doubts of his soccer powers, just ask him – and you may get this face of super confidence!And I did have a little time to think Halloween – so I made the scary digital art – with reflections in the eyes – to show two of the three dogs. Dogs, Macy and Teddy, entertain us daily.I must ride off now – Oh I did not get photos of Charlie or Max doing things yet — but Charlie sure did entertain us with a simple question – I did not get the right answer to his question – “How do you spell “YES” – got that part right – Now let me ask “If you put an e in front of yes what do you get?
